James Foster

Senior Manager of Youth Programs at Groundwork USA

James Foster, Senior Manager of Youth Programs at Groundwork USA, partners with the National Park Service and other land conservation agencies to coordinate and lead experiential learning and workforce development opportunities for youth. James comes to Groundwork USA after his Youth Programs Assistant role at the Intermountain Region of the National Park Service through a partnership with The Corps Network, serving as a regional liaison to the 26 conservation corps partners in the region, and improving institutional knowledge-sharing practices and connections between partners. As the AmeriCorps Director for the Conservation Corps of the Forgotten Coast in northwest Florida, James expanded efforts to connect local youth to career opportunities in land and resource conservation through hands-on learning classes and workforce development support.

James holds a dual bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University in Economics and Political Science and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
