Erin Kirkpatrick is an accomplished manager with over twenty years of experience in education, capital planning, non-profit program development, strategic planning, community outreach and advocacy, and parks and recreation management for both the non-profit and public sectors. Erin’s innovative, community focused and systems-based approach to problem solving helped to guide Making Space: An Equity Study for Tempe Parks and Recreation from concept to implementation. Erin currently manages the Escalante Multi-Generational Center, Adaptive Recreation programming, and Community Garden Partnerships for the City of Tempe. Her diverse background and focus on collaboration and equitable decision-making guides the programs she oversees. Outside of work, Erin enjoys hiking in the gorgeous desert she calls home and volunteering for her local community and at her three children’s schools.
