Andrea (Aya) Tacdol is a mom of three raising her family in San Francisco. Aya currently serves as the Community Partnership Manager of the Presidio Trust — finding meaningful and authentic ways of engaging community leaders and community-based organizations with her team.
Her passion for parks began when she realized that her family and community had limited access to safe outdoor spaces. At the time she was the coordinator for a neighborhood public health initiative, the Bayview HEAL Zone, supporting healthy eating and active living that included activating and securing funding for local parks. Her work is grounded in her experiences as a community organizer and her education in Ethnic Studies.
