Allison is a licensed Architect and certified City Planner with a professional degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently working towards a master’s in Urban Studies with a concentration in economic development at Cleveland State University.
Before assuming the lead role at Greater Cleveland Partnership overseeing the $2 billion dollar, public-private development of the Downtown Cleveland Lakefront in 2022, Allison was the Director of Planning and Development at the City of Euclid.
She previously worked as a Project Manager with real estate developer Geis Companies and StudioTECHNE Architects in Cleveland in addition to architecture firms in Pittsburgh and Shanghai, China. Allison is nationally recognized for her temporary and permanent public art installations that partner with non-profits to advance a social cause, including “Bus Stop Moves”, “Give Box CLE” and “Phone Gallery”. She was recently named Crain’s Cleveland Business “40 under 40” and one of Cleveland Magazine’s “Most Interesting People”.
Allison currently serves as an elected member of the APA Ohio Board of Trustees, the AIA Cleveland Board of Trustees, the Shore Cultural Centre’s Board of Trustees, and is the founder of the Cleveland chapter of the Awesome Foundation. She is a mentor with College Now and regularly volunteers with the Cleveland Food Bank, the Cleveland Leadership Center, and Cleveland Plogs. She lives with her husband, Stephen Love, and their two cats in a 125-year-old cottage on Lake Erie, where she enjoys paddle boarding and watching the endless sunsets.
In August 2020, Allison launched her own consulting firm, A Creative & Consulting, LLC.
