Equity in Practice (EiP) is a three-certificate program offered by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) that aims to expand and deepen the work that many park and recreation (P&R) professionals are doing to advance race equity nationally in P&R agencies. The curriculum was designed to develop four competencies: Direct Communication, Race Equity Analysis, Relationships Across Difference, and Self-Awareness.
