Come One, Come All, Come Play Pickleball

Weekend Tour

Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America, and its birthplace is right here in Washington State! Seattle Parks and Recreation staffers challenge beginners and veterans alike to play with others and hone their skills while we share how Seattle is accommodating the high demand for courts and playing time. We provide the racquets, balls, and courts and will offer instruction for first-timers.

Join us at the beloved Green Lake Park, with water views and green space, in the center of a dense urban neighborhood and the popular site for drop-in pickleball – among many other activities. If playing pickleball poops you out, enjoy the 2.8-mile path around the lake that geologists say was formed by the Vashon Glacial Ice Sheet (which also formed Puget Sound).

Please note: Please wear court shoes and appropriate clothing for weather and vigorous activity.
