Tonya Booker

Land Stewardship Division Manager at Portland Parks and Recreation

Tonya has over 25 years of leadership and management experience in education, parks and recreation, and community programs. She has served for the city now called Portland as the Land Stewardship Division Manager in Parks and Recreation since 2019. PP&R Land Stewardship includes land management activities and daily care and maintenance at Developed Parks and Natural Areas. It also includes Environmental Education, Community Gardens, Integrated Pest Management, Turf, Irrigation, Horticultural Services and Trails. Tonya holds a Master of Liberal Arts (Stanford University) and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry, with a specialization in Natural Resources and Environmental Science (University of Illinois).
