Susanne joins the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture from Parks and Recreation and has promoted diverse community engagement for over 20 years. Susanne has her Master’s in Landscape Architecture with an emphasis on public involvement in urban design, a Bachelor’s in Biology, Geology, and Science education, and has studied art at Seattle’s Pratt Fine Arts Center – focusing on both metalwork and encaustic mixed media.
In her off time, she is either in her garden, her art studio, or collaborating on metalwork with her husband. She is an avid traveler and has circumnavigated the globe.
