Stefanie Loomis

Associate Landscape Architect at Walker Macy

Stefanie is an associate landscape architect with Walker Macy who works with communities to design ecologically grounded, equitable, and loved landscapes, places, and built environments. She has worked across the United States on various project types that range from regional waterfront planning and design, public parks, gardens, and cultural facilities, to storm and flood recovery efforts.

Stefanie’s design perspective is rooted in the landscape’s power to cultivate a sense of place, and the importance of being a cultural advocate for the natural world. Having grown up in Seattle, she cares deeply about the PNW and the future collective health, joy, and climate readiness of the region.

Stefanie holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Community, Environment & Planning as well as Painting & Drawing from the University of Washington. Stefanie is the current Chair of WASLA’s Climate Action Committee.
