Sarah Olson

Deputy Director at Lynnwood Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts

Sarah Olson serves as Deputy Director of Lynnwood Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts in Washington State. She oversees long-range planning, capital development, and healthy community programming for a growing suburban community.

Under her leadership, Lynnwood has joined the national 10-minute walk movement with the goal of improving park access by improving Lynnwood’s walking network, park quality, environmental resiliency, and removing ADA barriers. Sarah is committed to inclusive community engagement for better park planning to realize equitable park access and led an effort to create an equitable capital project prioritization tool.

Sarah enjoys walking, urban hiking, and family bike rides.
