Nina Coveney

Senior Project Manager at Biederman Redevelopment Ventures

Nina is a Senior Project Manager with Biederman Redevelopment Ventures (BRV), a placemaking consulting firm that creates, redevelops, and operates parks, public spaces, neighborhood streetscapes, and the public realms of mixed-use developments.

Based in San Francisco, Nina is BRV’s Project Manager for Salesforce Park, where she is primarily responsible for the park’s public events and operations. She has also managed park redevelopment and programming in Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; Las Vegas, NV; West Palm Beach, FL and Scottsdale, AZ, in addition to working with the Downtown Seattle Association and the City of Seattle to help formulate Seattle’s Downtown Activation Plan (DAP). She is an expert in programming and public space operations and contributes this knowledge to a variety of projects in the BRV portfolio by building budgets and revenue projections, analyzing and recommending public policy, creating robust programming and staffing plans, and critiquing design plans from the future operational perspective.

Nina brings extensive public event and park operations experience to the firm from her time as a full-time Events Manager at Bryant Park Corporation & 34th Street Partnership in New York City, where she planned and executed all aspects of Bryant Park’s 1000+ free annual public events. Prior to that, Nina worked for the Town of Ithaca Planning Department in Ithaca, New York and as a researcher for a non-profit organization that provides supportive housing for the homeless.

Nina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning.
