Megan Price

Manager, Parks Standards and Innovation at City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation

Megan Price is the Manager of Parks Standards and Innovation for the City of Toronto where she leads the development and implementation of policies, programs, and standards that support the provision of safe, accessible greenspaces for the three million residents of a “city within a park”.

The diversity of Toronto’s residents comes to life in the greenspaces of the city: over 1500 parks, totaling more than 20,000 acres of land. Megan’s work supports the dialogue between Parks Operations, community groups, elected officials, and other stakeholders to ensure that park space is managed in a way that is equitable and sustainable across the city. Her portfolio also includes overseeing the budget for the branch and leading several technology projects for the modernization of Parks Operations. Megan is also leading the implementation of a new enterprise work management system for Parks.
