Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal walk to a local park. While this is not a guided tour of a specific park, it’s an opportunity to connect and learn more about City Parks Alliance, meet Alliance Board Members, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air and seeing the local parks.
Only a few short blocks away from the conference venue, Westlake Park is unofficially Seattle’s “town square” and a central gathering place for events. The city has worked hard to activate positive use of the space with programming and passive activity features. Several fast, casual lunch options, including the Asean Street Food Hall and nearby food trucks. The total distance for this walk is about .4 miles or about 5 minutes each way.
Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event unless there is inclement weather. Bring your reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and money if you wish to pick up lunch.
