Walk & Talk: Seattle Center

Networking Event

Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal walk to a local park. While this is not a guided tour of a specific park, it’s an opportunity to connect and learn more about City Parks Alliance, meet Alliance Board Members, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air and seeing the local parks.

Walk to the city’s most iconic skyline feature, the Space Needle, and enjoy lunch at the 74-acre campus of the Seattle Center. The Center is part cultural center and part park. In 1941, Duke Ellington played on the Armory stage for the University of Washington’s Junior Prom! Many fast, casual lunch options are available at the Armory food hall. The total distance for this walk is about 1.6 miles or about 19 minutes each way.

Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event unless there is inclement weather. Bring your reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and money if you wish to pick up lunch.
