Walk & Talk: Bell Street/Olympic Sculpture Park

Networking Event

Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal walk to a local park. While this is not a guided tour of a specific park, it’s an opportunity to connect and learn more about City Parks Alliance, meet Alliance Board Members, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air and seeing the local parks.

Covered in monumental artworks, the award-winning nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront is Seattle’s largest downtown green space and includes a forest of native aspen that defines the park’s transition from city to shore, a meadow landscape with expanses of grasses and wildflowers which meet the sidewalks to achieve a “fenceless” park, providing flexible sites for sculpture and a tidal garden that is revealed and concealed with the changing tides. The total distance for this walk is about 2 miles or about 22 minutes each way.

Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event unless there is inclement weather. Bring your reusable water bottle and sunscreen.
