Walk & Talk: Bell Street/Olympic Sculpture Park

Networking Event

Join a City Parks Alliance Board Member and fellow attendees on an informal walk to a local park. While this is not a guided tour of a specific park, it’s an opportunity to connect and learn more about City Parks Alliance, meet Alliance Board Members, and network with other Greater & Greener participants while getting some fresh air and seeing the local parks.

Covered in monumental artworks, the award-winning nine-acre Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront is Seattle’s largest downtown green space and includes a forest of native aspen that defines the park’s transition from city to shore, a meadow landscape with expanses of grasses and wildflowers which meet the sidewalks to achieve a “fenceless” park, providing flexible sites for sculpture and a tidal garden that is revealed and concealed with the changing tides. Put in lunch orders ahead of time at the Bang Bang Cafe on Bell Street. The total distance for this walk is about 2 miles or about 22 minutes each way.

Please note: This is a rain-or-shine event unless there is inclement weather. Bring your reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and money for food.
