Equitable Access to Recreation Programs and Facilities

Cohort Peer Conversation

Learn how Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) staff use technology and data for more equitable use of recreation facilities and programs. Participants will hear about SPR’s playing field equity analysis study and implementation strategy to ensure equitable field scheduling and increase access, and how SPR is using recreation management software in unique ways to increase services for scholarship-eligible families. Participants will share feedback about approaches from their own jurisdictions on similar equity efforts.

Note: This Peer Conversation is a closed session for public agency leaders and is not available to general conference participants. If you represent a public agency, please add your name to the waitlist. Conference organizers will regularly review the waitlist and notify those who are moved into the session or are ineligible to attend so they can register for an alternative.
