Greater & Greener 2024 Media Policy

Greater & Greener 2024 Media Policy

City Parks Alliance welcomes members of the media to the Greater & Greener conference. The media guidelines below serve to establish a set of clear guidelines to help members of the media share stories from the event while ensuring conference attendees have the space and opportunity for frank conversations, networking, and learning.

Press passes are available only to working media representatives who can show evidence that their attendance is expected to result in coverage of the meeting or event in print, broadcast, or online media.

Members of the media may cover and report on all plenary sessions, keynote speeches, panel dialogues, Innovation Rounds, City Parks Research Lab, Sunday Seminar, Volunteer Service Day, Mayors Forum, and the Opening and Closing Receptions. Media may attend Mobile Workshops only as space permits. Media may not register in advance for Mobile Workshops but may be admitted if space is available when the workshop transportation is ready to depart on the event day. (See below for contact to request access to a Mobile Workshop.)

All other events related to Greater & Greener are considered private and strictly off the record. Members of the media may not attend Peer Conversations, Walk & Talks, Skill-Building Workshop, or Weekend Tours.

City Parks Alliance reserves the right to limit media access to any other City Parks Alliance-sponsored meetings and events not listed above at Greater & Greener.

Filming and photographing for public consumption of any kind and live broadcasts of any kind at Greater & Greener are allowed only at the discretion of the City Parks Alliance team.

City Parks Alliance reserves the right to inspect the credentials of anyone registering as media.

City Parks Alliance reserves the right to limit the number of press badges issued to a single media organization.
