Building an Equitable and Inclusive Organization

In this deep-dive interactive workshop, Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy will draw from lessons learned and best practices in identifying organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals; creating inclusive programming; building an inclusive organization; and avoiding common pitfalls and misconceptions.

Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will describe its approach to DEI through its racial equity action plan, department wide implementation and alignment with external investment. The plan includes MPRB's unique approach to ensuring capital improvements and programmatic investments do not reinforce historical and current racial disparities by directing funding where it's needed the greatest.
