We are thrilled to welcome you to Greater & Greener 2026!
City Parks Alliance seeks to offer the highest-quality conference experience at the lowest rate possible. In fact, our sponsors subsidize more than 70% of the actual costs of attending.
There are multiple ways to save on registration fees, including Early Bird rates, City Parks Alliance membership discounts, and reduced rates for accepted speakers.
While we can provide some scholarship support for attendees, we primarily work with community funders to administer scholarship programs for their local park practitioners and advocates.
For those interested in finding additional funding to support Greater & Greener attendance, we encourage you to contact your local supporters for assistance, including your local community foundation. If several park leaders from your region are interested in attending, we recommend coordinating a request for a cross-sector “city team” that includes park agency leadership, nonprofit supporting organizations, and community advocates. Local community foundations may also offer grants for professional development.
You can use or adapt this language to demonstrate the conference value as it relates to you and your organization to potential scholarship funders:
Greater & Greener 2026 is an exciting blend of indoor sessions and outdoor experiences that bring the power of parks to life. The highly curated agenda sets the table for honest, cross-sector dialogue with others doing hands-on work. Attendees will take home strategies and tools for using parks to build more sustainable, vibrant, and equitable cities.
Conference tracks will explore parks as resilient infrastructure, sustaining park funding in turbulent times, parks and equitable community development, and parks’ roles in healthy and inclusive communities.
The highly curated conference agenda is designed to foster solutions-focused dialogue among urban park leaders, planning and design professionals, public officials, nonprofits, community-based organizations, advocates, and funders. Speakers and moderators are carefully selected, and sessions are designed to demonstrate innovative partnerships involving public, private, advocacy, funding, and other sectors to provide multiple perspectives.
Greater & Greener 2026 attendees will experience the unique Austin park and recreation system and the vibrant and diverse city in which it resides during expert-led tours and workshops. Conference-goers will also learn about local projects and initiatives and meet the innovators behind these creative approaches.
