Greater & Greener Gives Back!
At each Greater & Greener conference, attendees, and local organizations come together for Volunteer Service Day, an opportunity to make a difference in a city park in the conference host city.
St. Charles Place Park, Denver
What’s the best way to kick off Greater & Greener 2019? Roll up your sleeves, grab a pair of gloves, and make your mark in the Mile-High City by volunteering to install new playground equipment and help refurbish St. Charles Place Park!
The 2019 Volunteer Service Day project is led by the St. Charles Ambassadors, a volunteer group of youth formed to represent the interest of the Cole community and assist with the redesign of the park. They have been working over the past year with Denver Parks & Recreation to engage the community and create a cohesive plan for the park and recreation center.
Enjoy a beautiful day in St. Charles Place Park with these inspiring young leaders, meet fellow conference attendees, and pitch in to help create a vibrant and healthy space for all. Projects include a playground build and other park clean-up. All ages and abilities welcome. No experience needed. Register here.
