San Francisco Human Services Agency
For 18 years, Daniel Kelly has been the planning director for the San Francisco Human Services Agency (SF-HSA), the city’s public social service agency for low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Daniel leads SF-HSA’s strategic planning, program evaluation, and program development efforts. Prior to coming to SF-HSA, he was a social worker, conducting outreach to vulnerable households. His innovative work in joining data from across organizations to integrate services has been profiled by the National League of Cities and in a recent book, Policy-Walking: Lighting Paths to Safer Communities, Stronger Families, and Thriving Youth.
