David M. Haight, FAICP, LEED AP ND, is a planner, designer, advocate, and planning educator with over 45 years’ experience in the design of better communities. He has completed a portfolio of exemplary projects along the Panhandle coast with his favorite work in recent years focusing on projects in Pensacola. His recent work has been focused on parks and streetscapes in Pensacola. He is an advocate for universal design and safe walkable/bikeable facilities in our communities. A former planner in residence in the FSU Department of Urban and Regional Planning, he has taught planning courses at FSU for 31 years.
