David Lucas is the Project Leader of the Colorado Front Range National Wildlife Refuge Complex. David has worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for almost 20 years. Prior, he worked for the State of Kentucky DNR and National Park Service.
He has a degree in biology and a Master’s in Public Administration. He is also active in fire and emergency management. He is currently a Section Chief on the Rocky Mountain Type 1 Incident Management Chief as well as an Engine Boss locally.
David resides in Arvada, Colorado with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.
