Mr. Gonzalez is an advisor to the mayor of Bogota as manager of North City, a 450,000-home urban development project. He is an industrial engineer who attended Los Andes University and holds an MBA from Stanford University. Juan Camilo started his career in the financial sector in Grupo Colpatria (market risk analysis), Citibank (business intelligence) and Merrill Lynch (investment banking). He then joined Linzor Capital, a private equity fund with more than $500 million in assets under management where he participated in investments in the financial, publishing, and energy sectors. Before joining the city's administration, Mr. Gonzalez started Epica, a real estate advisory company, where he structured development projects accounting for more than $100 million in revenue. He sits in the board of data traffic and Rancho Victoria, a 5,000 hectares forestry project he started in 2007.
