Will brings a wealth of experience in the public sector as a champion of marginalized and diverse populations. Before stepping in as the Deputy Director of the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative (NDCC), he developed new initiatives as the Director of Economic Mobility for NDCC and the Mayor’s Office of the National Western Center. With a diverse career portfolio ranging from nonprofit development, arts education, and workforce development, Will brings a unique perspective to every endeavor he partakes in, drawing from his unique background. Prior to his role with NDCC, he managed the New Americans Project with Denver Public Library providing holistic programs and services to Denver’s immigrant, refugee, and asylee populations.
Will’s service expands to the community in his volunteer work as well, serving on the Denver Asian American and Pacific Islander Commission, chairing the Denver County Cultural Council under SCFD, and is on the Mill Oversight Committee with Denver Public Schools. He has also served as a regional ambassador for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Among his honors, Will has been awarded ColoradoBIZ Magazine’s GenXYZ Top 5 Most Influential Young Professionals, Library Journal’s Mover and Shaker award, the EY Next Generation Leadership award with the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts, was a Denver Changemaker for the Denver Post’s 80/95 Awards, and also awarded Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award.
