Lisa Bransten is the director of partnerships for the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department. She is inspired by the vibrancy and diversity of cities and driven by a desire to make San Francisco a great place to live for all of its residents. This will happen in part through the public-private partnerships that leverage public resources with private funding to transform parks and programs across San Francisco. Prior to working for the city, Lisa worked as a staff reporter for publications including the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the Gilroy Dispatch the Mexico City Daily News.
