Margo Josephs has been serving as the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department’s Manager of Community Partnerships and Outreach since July 2015. In this role, she leads, tracks, and manages efforts to enhance awareness and investments in City initiatives and goals through public-public or public-private partnerships. As the liaison to the PLAY Boulder Foundation, Margo works closely between the organizations to ensure strategic alignment and effective collaboration in support of the shared mission. She also manages the special event and volunteer services teams across the city. Since 2016, Margo has supported over $1.5M of external funding to enhance department efforts, of which 62% have been in partnership with the PLAY Boulder Foundation.
Prior to joining the City of Boulder, Margo worked at a Boulder based non-profit as the Director of Community Partnerships and Business Development. Margo loves the Colorado lifestyle, spending as much time as possible in the mountains skiing, mountain biking and exploring.
