Sadiya Muqueeth is the Director of Community Health at the Trust for Public Land where she advances the built environment and nature as underutilized assets in strengthening the public’s health. Safe, quality public greenspaces boost health and climate resilience. Sadiya’s portfolio delivers on innovative cross-sector partnerships to increase awareness and policy support for greenspaces. Her prior experience ranges from working in the private sector at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to strengthening health systems, globally. A former CDC Public Health Prevention Service Fellow and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Sadiya serves as a Commissioner on Maryland’s Community Health Resources Commission. Sadiya earned her BA in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University, MPH in Health Behavior from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and DrPH from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.
