Under Ruffian’s leadership FOW has undertaken several capital projects, the highest profile of which is the restoration of the Lower Valley Green
Run and pedestrian bridge, a new architectural feature in the Wissahickon Valley Park and cornerstone of future fundraising as FOW looks toward its 100th year in 2024.
Ruffian’s professional experience includes development roles at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Wadsworth Atheneum, and Mystic Seaport.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Drew University and currently serves on the Executive Committee of Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Sierra Club.
