Lorne is the Regional Recreation and Conservation Manager for Eastern Pennsylvania with The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resource’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
Lorne attended Penn State’s Forestry program at Mont Alto and graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Management with a concentration in Outdoor Recreation. He has worked for the National Park Service, Municipal Recreation departments and in commercial recreation.
During his career with DCNR Lorne has guided partners to grant funding resulting in hundreds of miles of new trails, numerous new park and recreation opportunities and thousands of conserved park and open space acres.
