Julia Diamond

Director, Grand Park at The Music Center

Julia currently serves as the Director of Grand Park at The Music Center, overseeing all aspects of strategic direction, programming, engagement, operations, business development, and facility management. She became the park director after serving as Interim Director from 2017-2019. From 2012-2017, she was the park’s inaugural programming director. Grand Park serves to unite Los Angeles County creating a bridge and central gathering space by presenting programs that showcase Los Angeles’ many creative and cultural communities.

Prior to her work at Grand Park, she worked for 10 years as a producer of dance, theatre, and opera in the US, Europe, and China. She is the secretary of the board of California Presenters. She also serves on advisory councils for the Ford Theatre and Arts for LA as well as on the statewide task force for Reopening the Arts Safely.

She holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and an M.A. in Arts Administration from Columbia University.
