German Enriquez

Parks Senior Advisor at City of San Pedro Garza García

Born and raised in Mexico with a broad international experience, with a background in industrial and environmental engineering studies, German has participated in sustainability projects and humanitarian aid around the world as a collaborator of the NGO Engineers Without Borders Chapter Denmark and as Director of the Environmental Department in the Municipality of León, Mexico.

As Executive Director of Parque Metropolitano de León, the organization was recognized at an international level for the disruptive and successful programs implemented related to nature conservation, business models, and smart systems. He currently holds the position of Senior Urban Parks Advisor at the Municipality of San Pedro Garza García and also teaches in the engineering department of Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is a Board member of the World Urban Parks and NRPA Mexico. He is also the first Mexican to be recognized as a Certified Parks Professional by the World Parks Academy.
