Eric Landau has served as President of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation since April 2017, upon nomination by Mayor Bill de Blasio. Brooklyn Bridge Park, one of the largest and most significant public projects to be built in New York City in a generation, has transformed a once dilapidated industrial waterfront into a vibrant and thriving 85-acre civic landscape.
Eric leads the Park’s continued expansion, oversees its daily operations, and fosters its long-term stability. Eric brings experience supporting the city’s public spaces, having served as deputy commissioner overseeing public affairs and communications at New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and as Vice President at the Prospect Park Alliance.
Eric holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Eric lives in Brooklyn with his wife and their 2 children.
