Emily Proudfoot has been a Landscape Architect for the City of Eugene, Oregon, Parks Division for over 20 years. In that time, she has worked on park projects throughout the community, spent a year as a Transportation Planner, and is now managing the Downtown Riverfront Park project, a $14 million-dollar effort to connect Downtown Eugene back to the Willamette River and explore multicultural histories. She also leads a team of four design professionals, manages the City’s Parks and Open Space Capital program, and is a member of the City’s Public Art Committee. Emily holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and is a painter in her free time.
