Bryan Hill is an award-winning community planner and activist, committed to improving the well-being of rural, low-income, and distressed communities he serves across Tennessee. He has led the development of local and regional strategies to improve parks and recreation, transportation, land use, environmental protection, and economic development.
Bryan also partners with communities to implement their plans, including pursuing grants, developing new attractions, and establishing innovative programs and policies.
In addition to his professional role, he has given hundreds of hours to public service projects as diverse as rebuilding housing in flood-prone areas of West Virginia, to developing a user’s manual for the Western North Carolina Green Building Council’s Sustainable Communities Initiative. He currently serves on the Board of Bike Walk Knoxville, promoting safety and accessibility for bicycle and pedestrian transportation.
