Play to Learn: Local Perspectives on Embedding Playful Learning in the Everyday Spaces

Mobile Workshop

Join national experts and local leaders in play for an engaging, interactive tour of playful learning installations recently unveiled in neighborhoods across Philadelphia as part of the Play Everywhere Philly initiative. During this bus and walking tour, participants will experience three innovative public spaces designed specifically to support playspace equity and early learning through play, providing kids and caretakers with opportunities for learning in the 80% of time young people spend outside the classroom.

The tour will be moderated by the play experts at KABOOM! and Playful Learning Landscapes Action Network, along with the William Penn Foundation and community leaders doing the work on the ground.
