Continuing education or professional development is required in many fields for individuals to maintain licensure. These fields include park and recreation professionals, landscape architects, and planners. By attending the Greater & Greener conference, registered individuals in these fields can earn credits by selecting applicable sessions and mobile workshops. Continuing Education is available for:

CERTIFIED PARKS AND RECREATION PROFESSIONALS (CPRP) | CERTIFIED PARKS AND RECREATION EXECUTIVES (CPRE)

Greater & Greener is pleased to offer continuing education units for those seeking to maintain CPRP and CPRE licenses in cooperation with the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association.

For park professionals seeking continuing education for the CPRE/CPRP licensure, you must pick up materials at the Conference Registration area. Forms must be signed off by room monitors at the completion of each session. You must stay for the entire session and you will be required to fill out a session survey. (Session surveys are available through the conference app.)

At the completion of your participation in all credit-bearing sessions, you must return to the Conference Registration area with your materials to complete a summary form that City Parks Alliance will submit to the Minnesota Park and Recreation Association for verification. Forms must be submitted by 6 PM, Tuesday, August 1.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT CONTINUING EDUCATION SYSTEMS (LA CES)

City Parks Alliance is an American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) approved provider for professional development hours (PDH). Landscape Architects must self-report via the LA CES system for Professional Development Hours (PDH). You must stay for the entire session and you will be required to fill out a session survey. (Session surveys are available through the conference app.)
